Roof installation April 2009.
It rained for 6 weeks straight after we moved the house, the tarps were left in place but leaked badly causing damage to the plaster ceilings and created a lot of mould. In between the rain I hired a company to scaffold the entire house, another $3500 not in the budget but I was then able to work up high easily and sand all the facia ready for paint before the spouting was installed. |

Then finally the rain stopped and the roofers arrived. We were still workingon finishing the frame and installing battons as they were catching up with the insulation and roofing iron.

Because this is a cyclone area all of the battens had to be screwed down and each rafter one at a time.
Two days work and it was fianlly all water-tight. I left the scaffold up there for another week and got the painter to paint under the eaves and all the high up areas.
